On the 24th May Swansea Bay Radio teamed up with the Glantawe Theatre Company to Welcome home Francesca Jackson


Drivetime Presenter Jay Curtis teamed up with the Glantawe Theatre Company to organise a very special musical evening which included the World Famous West End Phantom Peter Karrie.

Over 200 guests turned out to see Fran who became a household name as the star in the BBC programme I'd Do anything, and West End Performances such as Rent, and Rod Stewarts tonight’s the night.



The event which was held at the Ystradgynlais Welfare Hall was a huge success styled as a black tie cabaret evening with guest Compare and West End performer Philip Arron.


On Bank Holiday Monday Jay had special highlights from the evening between 5pm and 6pm with special back stage interviews from Fran, Peter and the Glantawe Theatre Company members.


Jay added “ It was great to officially welcome Fran home for a very special evening of music and memory with the cast of Glantawe Theatre company, I never thought we would be able to put it together in 3 weeks but we have, and I would like to thank everyone involved for such a fantastic night’’
